The 550 Barchetta Pininfarina is a convertible version of the Ferrari 550 Maranello styled by Pininfarina and it is the perfect interpretation of the classic, open-top front-engined V12 Ferrari sports car, complete with modern styling and technology. Like sports cars of the past the 550 Barchetta Pininfarina is aimed exclusively at open-air use, providing just a manual soft-top for weather emergencies.
The car celebrates Pininfarina's 70th anniversary and was first shown at the 2001 Salon de l'Automobile of Paris. Only 448 examples were built, each one individually numbered and carrying a plaque inside with the car's serial number and the car stylist Sergio Pininfarina's signature. A truly exclusive car for an exclusive Hot Wheels EliteTM model!
