Lamborghini has a tradition of naming their car models after famous fighting bulls. The Reventon is no different; named after a bull famed for killing famous bullfighter Felix Guzman in 1943, the word is Spanish lingo for a large party or a night out on the town, derived from its dictionary definition of "explosion" or "burst." Aptly named, the Lamborghini namesake was released as one of the worlds fastest, most exclusive, and powerful cars. The first line of Reventons was limited to only 20 individually numbered vehicles, with an additional 0/20 model created for the Lamborghini museum. Inspired by the speed and performance of jet fighter planes, the Reventon was pitted in a race against a Panavia Tornado jet fighter plane in a 3 kilometer race. Although the Tornado won out in the end, the Reventon led for most of the race, going up to speeds of 340km/h.
Needless to say, the Reventon is a pretty awesome piece of human engineering. Weve tried to squeeze as much of it into the 1:18 scale diecast model you see before you today. This is an officially sponsored Lamborghini model, available for any car model lover, at a fraction of Lamborghinis $1.5 million dollar price tag. The 1:18 scale Reventon has all of the curves and angles of the real thing, and is available now in a clean Gunmetal coat. The entire model is embossed with details, such as a stock body kit and tinted windows making it one of the best looking diecasts we have in stock. While this model may not be as exclusive and posh as its larger, more expensive counterpart, were sure itll blow away any other diecast car in its class!
