The Ferrari 599XX turned its first wheel on-track at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit outside of Valencia just before Ferrari began conducting tests on their new Formula One car. In this occasion Felipe Massa personally tested this exclusive new 12-cylinder Berlinetta planned for the race track and led a group of seven cars around the circuit, the rest of the cars were piloted by the lucky members of Ferrari's Corse Clienti program. The Ferrari 599XX concept was previously debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009. Based on the 599 GTB Fiorano, the concept model had an engine made with lighter parts, while being enhanced from a performance perspective. The car also uses a composite body, carbon-ceramic brakes, and carbon-fiber and aluminium all over. Hot Wheels EliteTM offers to collectors an incredibly detailed die-cast model!
