Starting with the latest MINI Cooper S model, BMW introduced a very limited special edition designed and built in conjunction with the Bertone Group of Italy and the John Cooper Works. Only 2,000 were made, 450 of which were shipped to America. It boasts 218 Horsepower, extreme weight savings — thanks to carbon fiber body parts, no rear seat, no A/C, no radio, and other nips and tucks — completely unique aerodynamic body treatment, wheels and paint job. It’s the fastest and most maneuverable MINI Cooper ever produced.
Now Carisma gives MINI enthusiasts the opportunity to own and drive a scale version that focuses on the incredible detail and finish that Carisma is known for. Unique wheels and tires, spoiler, ground effects and more complete the realistic looking package, making for a stunning display piece that's also ready to drive. And just like other Carisma models, the MINI Cooper S JCW GP comes pre-assembled with batteries and charger included.

Carisma’s 1/14 ready-to-run cars captivate the casual eye with paint quality and detail that is on par with most die-cast models, while at the same time providing a hobby-quality chassis that beginners can easily repair and adjust.
All Carisma cars feature licensed bodies that are pre-painted and an independent front suspension, T-bar rear suspension, factory set camber and caster, and a bevel gear differential. The chassis rolls on scale-looking wheels and treaded tires complete with manufacturer logos. Perhaps the biggest feature though, is the ability to adjust wheelbase and width to accommodate bodies from other 1/14 Carisma cars. This not only allows beginners to try different body styles, but it improves the chances that they will remain in the hobby by giving them a taste of the king of tuning options a hobby-quality car offers.
The electronics are hobby-quality as well. Each car comes equipped with a 27MHz proportional radio system, an electronic speed control with reverse and a rechargeable battery pack with AC wall charger. Carisma has even thought to include 8 "AA" batteries for the pistol-grip transmitter, so there’s literally nothing left to do but charge the battery pack and go.
